Friends, As I anticipate retirement, I am so deeply grateful for the privilege of serving you throughout the years. This has been an extreme honour for me. This page was usually reserved for information and annual promotions, but this year I would like to write about something much more valuable, people. The longer that I was in business, the more I realized the impact that many of you have had on me. I have renovated your homes, mounted a new door, fastened a new window in the opening, replaced your eavestrough, or installed aluminum or vinyl products. This was my pleasure to do. Some of you have been there right from the beginning and you still live in the same home. For others, I have worked on your third or fourth home. For some, I have worked on your children’s and grandchildren’s houses. Simply amazing.
And yet, one of the things that I didn't imagine happening when I started the company years ago was the long term relationships that would develop because of the time spent in your home. I have met you in your churches and at your celebrations. I have crossed paths with you in shopping malls and on sidewalks and bike paths.
I have seen your children as babies and seen them grow up. I have laughed with you and I have shared tears with you at funerals of loved ones. I have had wonderful discussions of faith and our beliefs. I have had the privilege of serving you and yet you have served me as well. Your kind letters and notes, your words of wisdom, instruction, and encouragement have meant so much throughout the years. My wife and I have been blessed when your companies have worked in our home.
Thank you for your place in my life. Thank you for your trust in my services. Thank you for sharing your time. Thank you for listening and for great conversations. I will miss so much.
Please continue to take care of each other. Be a blessing as you are blessed.
