When I consider how to respond to the current situation with COVID, I think about two ladies I know who share the name MaryAnn. One is a client, one is my sister.
Both have Cancer, serious cancer.
If they were to contract COVID, this might cause serious complications in their fight with the illness that already is making their lives so much different than they ever expected.
So I wear a mask, sanitize, wash my hands and keep socializing and going out to a minimum, doing what is necessary and needed. Is it a sacrifice, hardly...compared to what these two women are enduring.
So I ask that you consider your choices that you make in regards to COVID, and ask you to think about the MaryAnn(s) in your life, on your street, in your neighbourhood.
I ask that if you are people of faith to pray for those like MaryAnn who need God's strength not just for healing, but just to get going in the morning.
