Frequently Asked Questions
What makes us different from other window & door companies?
The main difference is the fact that the owner of the company is the only person you deal with. Terry quotes you the price for your work, does the actual installation, and finalizes the transactions with you. No separate salespeople promising you something the installers cannot give you, no installers that have minimal qualifications or have moved from one company to the next and no hassles on the final bill. The amount billed is the amount you pay. And we supply you with as much information as you need and require, leaving nothing hidden.
Easy. Complete. Final.
When is the best time to get work done?
Although we like working in the spring to fall season best, all of our products can be installed year round. There are usually winter promotions that encourage people to buy during our slow season. During the busier times in the summer, you may have a waiting period of 5-12 weeks before the work is completed.
Why does it take so long sometimes to get the work done?
The main reason is that Terry does all the work and due to time limitations, can only accomplish so much work in a day. We try to accommodate emergency circumstances but we complete all our work in the order it was sold.
Do we have connections with other contractors for work that we do not do?
Yes. We can recommend many other companies of comparable quality to complete work of a nature that we do not do.
What qualifications does the owner, Terry, have?
He has been in the industry for 38+ years, trained by professionals, attended courses where he was trained in proper installation techniques and how to maintain a high standard. He is experienced with many years of hands-on applications.
Are there payment options?
We do not encourage people to go heavily in debt to purchase our products. We are quite flexible in allowing payments over a short period of time if required. We usually don’t require more than a 25% deposit on jobs.
What about low income help?
In the past, the Region of Peel offered help to low income households. Low Income Renovation Help Peel Region has launched a renovation assistance program that provides funding for low-income homeowners. Help is given on a first-come, first served basis, starting in January, until all funding for the year is dispersed. You will have to demonstrate a need for the assistance. Call 905-791-7800 to see if this is still available.
